Katie Brady
Owner/Pilates Instructor
Katie’s love of pilates began when she was just 16, and she’s been hooked ever since. Her fitness career spans nearly a decade, earning her certification to teach classical Pilates through The Pilates Standard’s 600+ hour comprehensive training course and working as a trainer at the top classical and contemporary studios in Manhattan.
This makes Katie uniquely qualified to create results-driven programs for her clients, borrowing methodology from both schools of practice. Her passion for the art drives her to continuously expand upon her education and bring innovative tools and techniques to her sessions.
Katie is so excited to bring her passion of Pilates to downtown Mystic where she currently resides with her hubby Henry & their sweet dog, Honey!
Katie Martin
Katie Martin has over 25 years of experience working in the fitness industry and holds a degree in Exercise Sports Science from UNC Chapel Hill.
She began her career as an associate working her way up to Wellness Director for the EPA where she ran the fitness center, health fairs, and wellness programs for the federal employees. It was there that she explored her love for helping clients through personal training and leading group classes.
Katie has a comprehensive Pilates certification from Power Pilates NYC and is the previous owner of Studio East 54 Pilates and Fitness in Chapel Hill, NC.
Since living in CT, Katie has been teaching barre, TRX, HIIT, and Pilates mat classes in the area. She is thrilled to join Seaport Pilates and continue her love and passion of teaching Pilates reformer!
Katie is also a busy wife, mother of 3 children and a golden retriever! In her spare time, she loves being outdoors, whether she’s out hiking or at the beach.
